Dave Van Andel

Dave Van Andel is Chairman and CEO of IdeaSphere, Inc. There he works with a team of highly innovative people responsible for creating new products, brands, services, and businesses to meet the needs of global consumers in the natural and earth friendly products arena.

Prior to that, Van Andel was the Chief Operating Officer of Pyxis Innovations Inc., a subsidiary of Alticor. Van Andel managed the growth engine fueling new ideas and expanding the entire Alticor enterprise. He currently sits on the Alticor Board of Directors.

Previously, Van Andel was Amway's Senior Vice President/Managing Director - Americas and Europe, with responsibility for business in more than 30 markets in North America, Europe and Latin America. He also directed new market development for the corporation.

Van Andel has served as Amway's Senior Vice President - Operations, Vice President of Manufacturing and Operations, and Director of Regional Distribution Centers, overseeing global distribution, information systems, forecasting/planning, engineering, purchasing and import-export operations.

Van Andel serves as Chairman of the Van Andel Institute for Education and Medical Research and on the boards of many civic, cultural and community organizations, including Grand Action, The Right Place program, American Cancer Society Foundation of Michigan, Hope College, Grand Valley State University Foundation, and Grand Rapids Public Museum Foundation. He also is co-owner and Chairman of the International Hockey League team, the Grand Rapids Griffins.
