Judson Green

Judson Green currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer at the Chicago-based Navigation Technologies Corporation, which he joined in May 2000. Navigation Technologies Corporation is the world's premier provider of precision digital map information and enabling technology used in a wide range of smart navigation products, including automotive navigation systems, hand-held products, GIS and fleet applications, Internet mapping, PC-based applications and call center-based navigation services.

Previously Green was Chairman of Walt Disney Attractions, the theme parks and resort segment of The Walt Disney Company. Walt Disney Attractions includes the Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World Resort, Tokyo Disney Resort and Disneyland Paris, as well as Disney Cruise Line, Disney Regional Entertainment and Walt Disney Imagineering.

In 1991, after serving as Chief Financial Officer of The Walt Disney Company, Green was tapped by Chairman and Chief Executive Michael Eisner and Chief Operating Officer Frank Wells to put Disney theme parks and resorts on an accelerated growth track that produced several consecutive years of record performance and double-digit annual operating growth for the segment. Revenues and operating income grew from $2.8 billion and $.5 billion, respectively in 1991, to $6.1 billion and $1.5 billion in 1999.

Green led the launch of a variety of new products including Disney's Animal Kingdom, Disney Cruise Line, Downtown Disney at Walt Disney World, as well as the expansions of the Disneyland Resort, Tokyo Disney Resort and Disneyland Paris.

Green has been active in numerous international environmental and wildlife conservation organizations, tourism boards and community-based efforts. He now serves on the board of directors of Conservation International and the World Bank Institute. An accomplished jazz pianist, Green has accompanied many entertainment personalities throughout his career. He frequently taught leadership courses at the Disney Institute, combining jazz with his thoughts on leadership, creativity and innovation.

Green earned his degree in economics from DePauw University in Greencastle, Ind., and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
